2. Switchback Amber DRL Kit- DRL’s are Amber only during the daytime with the automatic headlight knob in the auto position. They will switchback to factory White DRL’s at nighttime to match the headlights, turning the headlight knob, activate fog lights, or for remote starting.
3. Switchback DRL Kit & Auto Amber Kit- Same as kit 2 with the ability to activate your cab lights, fender lights, and mirror lights at the same time in auto, turning the the headlight dial still has the switchback feature.

During daylight, the daytime running lights will be amber. At nighttime or any other lowlight situation, the lights will change back to white automatically to match the head lights and/or fog lights when activated. During the daytime, you may also manually change your DRL’s back to white with the automatic headlight controller. Turning it clockwise, to the parking light setting, will turn your DRL’s white again. We recommend just leaving the knob in the auto position, to showcase the amber lighting, and let the truck do the work for you. This kit maintains your factory sequential turn signals.

2024-2026 GMC Sierra HD Amber DRL kit
The headlight connectors are different so you would need those. However, if you have the Auto amber kit with the long fender light harness, you need the gmc sierra 1500 full time amber kit, not the HD kit. The only difference is the HD comes with a fender light harness.

the auto amber kit can be added to the switchback kit to make the rest of the ambers turn on.
