2. Switchback Amber DRL Kit- DRL’s are Amber only during the daytime with the automatic headlight knob in the auto position. They will switchback to factory White DRL’s at nighttime to match the headlights, turning the headlight knob, activate fog lights, or for remote starting.

Transform the look of your Sierra with our Plug & Play GMC Sierra Amber DRL kit. Installation is simple, takes just a few minutes, and maintains all factory options. During daylight, the daytime running lights will be amber. At nighttime or any other lowlight situation, the lights will change back to white automatically to match the head lights and/or fog lights when activated.
During the daytime, you may also manually change your DRL’s back to white with the automatic headlight controller. Turning it clockwise, to the parking light setting, will turn your DRL’s white again. We recommend just leaving the knob in the auto position, to showcase the amber lighting, and let the truck do the work for you.

Looks great, easy to install
Looks good , my only issue is the harnesses are in my opinion too short, do they fit ? Yes they fit but they are under stress in my experience with the need to make a tight bend to connect the Venom harness back to the light housing connector. Other’s have said the very same thing about the harness length. Install was fairly easy, a little more difficult on the driver’s side but still not too difficult. Let’s see how they last and if any issues arise from installing on a new highly computer controlled truck ..!

Install was not the easiest in the world, especially if you have fat fingers. Headlight assembly came off easy, but the pink connector under the dash is tucked way far in the back and had me guessing if I made the right decision. I love the daytime look, but I exchanged the full time for the switchback since I like how much light is put out by having the white lights at night. I wasn’t thinking about it affecting how bright they were at night. All in all a great product and a great company.
