During daylight, the daytime running lights will be amber. At nighttime or any other lowlight situation, the lights will change back to white automatically to match the head lights and/or fog lights when activated. During the daytime, you may also manually change your DRL’s back to white with the automatic headlight controller. Selecting the parking light setting, will turn your DRL’s white again. We recommend just leaving the setting in the auto position, to showcase the amber lighting, and let the truck do the work for you.

The switchback DRLs give you the nice amber lights during the day and “switchback” to matching white lights to match the headlights at night with the auto light setting on.
