2024-2025 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 Amber switchback DRL kit

Transform the look of your Sierra HD truck with our plug and play Amber headlight harness. Installation is simply plug and play and retains all factory options. During daylight with your automatic headlight controller set to AUTO, the daytime running lights will be amber. At night the running lights will switch back to white automatically to match the head lights and/or fog lights or any other time the parking lights are turned on. You may also manually control your DRL’s during the day with the automatic headlight controller. Turning it clockwise, to the parking light setting, will turn your DRL’s white again. We recommend just leaving the knob in the auto position and let the truck do the work for you. With this kit you will maintain sequential turn signals that your truck came factory with. 

Note: This harness fits all trim level’s of the GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500’s.

Kit Includes: 2 harnesses, instruction QR code, and Venom decal (If available)

This does not fit 2019-2023 old body style trucks. Only 2024-2026 new body style aka (Refresh Trucks)

Installation: While plug and play,  it is slightly different over our other GM harnesses. A couple extra steps is needed to access the headlight plug. See detailed photos below. Some installations, depending on engine, will require you to loosen the fender well to gain access to the headlight connector on the back of the headlight. If you can access the headlight connector from under the hood, we recommend installing that way. 

1. Locate the T15 screws holding the fender well on as shown below. 

2. Remove enough screws so you have enough room to access the headlight connector. 

3. Reach inside and disconnect the headlight connector by sliding the red locking tab away from the connector and depressing the tab to remove it. (Familiarize yourself with how the locking tab operates on the venom harness to make this step easier.) If you have aftermarket glow emblems or illuminated auto deploy step bars, make sure our harness is closest to the headlamp to keep those other mods functioning properly.

4. Simply plug and play the Venom Harness between the headlight connector and the OEM connector.
